ARUBA WIRELESS AP CONFIGURATION (Basic)
Step 1 – Accessing
the Interface

Aruba's portfolio of 802.11ax and 802.11ac access points address today's most challenging Wi-Fi use cases. Flexible deployment options allow the APs to be deployed in controller-managed, controllerless (Instant)
Connect the access point to the DC power source. It
will take 3 to 5 minutes to show the SSID. Once the SSID is shown, connect to
that SSID.
open up the browser and access setmeup.arubanetworks.com.
It will instantly open the credential page (default credential)

Once entered to the console, we can start the
configuration.
Step 2 – Configuring the Virtual Controller (VC)
Once we enter to the configuration section, we
need to configure the VIRTUAL CONTROLLER
which is an inbuilt controller in all ARUBA access points. This makes the
ARUBA is even odder.
Once the IP assigned for virtual controller, device will restart and new console IP will be https://10.1.97.50:4343

Step
3 - Setting up SSID for end-users
Once the
virtual controller is configured, we need to setup the network/SSID for the
access points.
for that, we need to click NEW in network
for that, we need to click NEW in network
once clicked, the configuration wizard will pop
up
Select IP assignment as Network Assigned to get IP address from DHCP server for client devices.
Next level is set up the security for the
created SSID
once done, click next
and click FINISH

Step
4 - Merging rest of Access Points to Existing network
Merging
could be done by connecting the rest of the access point to the same network switch
where the first access point is connected.
once connected, the virtual controller detects the second access point through the broadcast signals. Once detected by the virtual controller, the access point name will display in the ACCESS POINT section in the virtual controller.
Once the access point appears, click the access point and click edit.

and put a name for slave access point and IP address and gateway details.
do this step for all other slave access points in order to make it as a single network.
